In summer, the countryside of Val di Sole is characterized by its impressive scenery. Majestic glaciers embrace massive and extremely high mountains, on whose sides, descending to lower altitudes, grow verdant woods, which on their lower part of the valley leave space to agricultural lands with their fruit-tree
orchards. |

Another dominant aspect of the landscape is water of which the Sole, Pejo and Rabbi valleys are rich. In fact, while on the bottom of the valley runs the Noce river, ideal training ground for canoeing, rafting and kayaking lovers, from the mountain sides rise numerous brooks, while on higher altitudes spectacular waterfalls mark the landscape with their white
jumps.
